Minutes of a meeting of the WBF Laws Committee held on
	Friday, August 30, 2002.

1.	The sole purpose of the meeting was to consider the 
minutes of the meeting of 27th August 2002.

2.	Mr. Schoder wished to establish that that the 
statement in Section 1(ii) of the minutes does not record 
the only circumstance in which the Director should have 
recourse to Law 27B1(b). He observed that other 
circumstances may arise in which the Director may rule the 
insufficient bid conveyed such information as to damage 
the non-offending side. The committee agreed an 
amendment of the minute in question, deleting all after 
“under Law 27B1(b)” and substituting: 
“when it is probable the result on the board would not have 
been obtained if the insufficient bid had not occurred and 
the non-offending side 
is thereby damaged.”

3.	With the above qualification the minutes were 
agreed.
